Wolfe Research last night downgraded Datadog (DDOG) to Peer Perform from Outperform without a price target The company’s fiscal 2025 growth guidance came in below expectations and channel checks on the name leave Wolfe incrementally cautious on Datadog’s future durability of growth while margins are also expected to contract this year, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm now sees a “more turbulent period around fundamentals and market dynamics” which it believes will limit the company’s growth and share upside. It sees increasing competition and optimization pressures amid a general lack of near-term catalysts for Datadog.
