Ferrero, the family-backed producer of brands such as Nutella, is in the early stages of weighing an offer for WK Kellogg (KLG), sources familiar with the matter told Dealreporter. Advisers are working with Ferrero to conduct preliminary work as it assesses whether to bid for Kellogg, said the sources, who added that deliberations are in the early stages and there is no guarantee an offer will be made.
