Waste Connections quantified the estimated total impact of the previously disclosed Chiquita Canyon Elevated Landfill Temperature Event at $160M, and while the magnitude of estimated costs will likely surprise many, Oppenheimer expects the ring-fencing of costs to remove some uncertainty from the story, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
