Walmart’s reign as biggest company by revenue in U.S. under threat, WSJ says

Walmart’s (WMT) reign as the nation’s biggest company by revenue is under threat, Sarah Nassauer of The Wall Street Journal reports. Its sales last year added up to $648B, with a revenue growth of 6%. Meanwhile, Amazon (AMZN) reported $575B in total revenue, with a revenue growth of 12%. If current sales trends persist, Amazon is likely to soon overtake Walmart.
