Raymond James analyst Bobby Griffin raised the firm’s price target on Walmart to $70 from $63 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. Results for the quarter were nicely ahead of expectations and the FY25 outlook was more favorable with constant currency sales, EBIT and adjusted EPS guided to the high-end to slightly above the initial guidance ranges, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Walmart’s business is firing on all cylinders, and the Q1 EBIT and FY25 outlook illustrate that Walmart’s higher-margin businesses are continuing to gain momentum.
