Morgan Stanley analyst Simeon Gutman raised the firm’s price target on Walmart to $200 from $168 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The company’s wider than normal guidance range reflects “additional conservatism” following the Q3 miss, says the firm, which thinks the FY25 range “should provide cushion throughout the year.” If general merchandise accelerates, gross margin upside is likely, the analyst added.
