RBC Capital raised the firm’s price target on Walmart to $189 from $168 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares after holding talks with its management yesterday. The company’s acquisition of Vizio is complementary to its Walmart Connect strategy as it can create new opportunities for brands to connect with customers and importantly adds attribution to the engagement, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm is also raising its Fy25 EPS view by 10c to $7.09 while rolling its valuation framework forward by a year.
