Piper Sandler lowered the firm’s price target on Walmart (WMT) to $114 from $118 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares following slightly better-than-expected Q4 results and a weaker-than-expected guide. Shares ended the day down nearly (7%), but Piper views guidance as a much-needed reset following several quarters of expectations climbing higher and higher.
