DA Davidson keeps a Buy rating and $179 price target on Walmart but notes that the company’s reiterated earnings guidance is favorable while potentially still leaving some room for upside with a month to go. Walmart’s Investment Community meeting is also showing off its supply chain muscle, which included more distribution center automation that will eventually improve throughput, lower costs, leverage expenses and enhance efficiency, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
