Walmart customers will see more third-party ads, amid revenue push, CNBC says

Walmart is pushing further into third-party advertising to take advantage of its reach and capitalize on a higher margin business, writes Melissa Repko for CNBC. “Shoppers will soon see more third-party ads on screens in Walmart self-checkout lanes and TV aisles; hear spots over the store’s radio; and be able to sample items at demo stations,” noted the CNBC story.
