Volkswagen (VWAGY) sued Indian authorities to squash an “impossibly enormous” tax demand of $1.4B, Aditya Kalra, Arpan Chaturvedi and Aditi Shah of Reuters reports. The company is arguing the ask is contradictory to New Delhi’s importation tax rules for car parts and will hinder the company’s business plans, court papers show, according to Reuters.
