Vital Farms initiated with an Outperform at Telsey Advisory

Telsey Advisory analyst Sarang Vora initiated coverage of Vital Farms (VITL) with an Outperform rating and $52 price target Vital has successfully differentiated its brand and products, especially pasture-raised eggs, in “a commodity category to gain a premium position,” argues the analyst, who contends that the company should continue to see strong growth helped by consumers shifting toward natural, healthy, and ethically sourced items as well as higher household penetration, new distribution, greater shelf space and new products.
