BofA raised the firm’s price target on Visa (V) to $331 from $314 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Visa and MasterCard (MA) report on January 30 and based on intra-quarter commentary, the firm believes underlying Q4 performance was “generally tracking consistent” with the firm’s estimates, adding that opex, tax and buybacks could drive modest EPS upside, as usual. However, recent U.S. dollar strength could weigh on reported revenue growth, the analyst noted.
