BMO Capital analyst Jeffrey Silber raised the firm’s price target on Verisk Analytics to $238 from $229 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares. The company’s earnings topped expectations mainly on top-line Claims strength, and while the insurance market is still challenged, Verisk’s business is “doing quite well”, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The management’s tone for the second half of the year was still “more cautious”, with a number of benefits expected to normalize, the firm adds.
