Macquarie raised the firm’s price target on Vail Resorts (MTN) to $195 from $180 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. The company’s fiscal Q1 beat on North American summer offsetting continued Australia ski season and resort weakness with record low snowfall and cost inflation, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says early North American weather conditions are a positive lead for this year.
