For several hours on Friday, PlayStation 5 owners have been reporting a corruption error when they attempt to download games or update previously purchased games, The Verge’s Richard Lawler reports. While some users have said the issue has been resolved, the news follows “permanent ban” issues reported earlier this week, and Sony has been silent on the latest issue, the author notes.
