Universal Technical initiated with a Buy at Truist

Truist initiated coverage of Universal Technical Institute with a Buy rating and $22 price target. The company should benefit from increased interest in trade schools, “attractive” incremental margins as programs scale into an under-utilized footprint and its “relatively conservative” initial fiscal 2025 guidance, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says management has “proved adept” at accelerating growth in the Concorde business acquired in fiscal 2025 and that it expects additional diversification in the clinical education space.
