Macquarie raised the firm’s price target on Unity to $15 from $12 and keeps an Underperform rating on the shares. The company announced plans to cancel its runtime fee, instead instituting price increases for Pro and Enterprise seat licenses in January 2025, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says that while stability in Create is welcome, it estimates the price hike only adds 3% to revenue. It still thinks Unity trades at an expensive valuation.
