UnitedHealth CEO Andrew Witty plans to say before a U.S. House panel on Wednesday that hackers exploited a Citrix vulnerability to breach its network on February 12, Reuters’ Zeba Siddiqui reports. Witty’s testimony before the House Energy and Commerce Committee will say that the breach occurred due to stolen login credentials that gave them remote access to the network, and “Not knowing the entry point of the attack at the time, we immediately severed connectivity with data centers to eliminate the potential for further infection.”
