UBS set to pay ‘at least hundreds of millions’ in DOJ settlement, WSJ reports

UBS (UBS) is set to pay “at least hundreds of millions of dollars” to settle violations by Credit Suisse of an earlier agreement with the Justice Department over American clients who evaded paying taxes, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal’s Margot Patrick, Emily Glazer and Dave Michaels. One source said a settlement could come as soon as this week, the report noted.
