Ubisoft’s new ‘Assassin’s Creed’ to have content removed in Japan, VGC says

Ubisoft (UBSFY) said that the Japanese release of its upcoming video game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” will have some graphic content removed, VideoGamesChronicle’s Chris Scullion reports, citing a post from Ubisoft Japan’s X account. Japanese ratings organization CERO determined that the blood and gore in the action-adventure title is too extreme for a Z rating, causing the French game maker to censor it, the author notes.
