President Donald Trump, during a meeting with visiting Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, said he hasn’t changed his mind on Nippon Steel’s (NPSCY) proposed acquisition of U.S. Steel (X). Trump added that he will discuss the deal with Ishiba. Shares of U.S. Steel immediately dropped following the comments, but have since recovered are now down only 18c to $39.09.
