A patent violation by iPhone maker Apple (AAPL) against a competitor may lead to an import ban for certain models of the company’s smartwatch, Aaron Tilley wrote for the Wall Street Journal. Masimo (MASI), a medical technology company, alleged in a complaint to U.S. International Trade Commission in 2021 that Apple violated a patent related to blood-oxygen level measurements, added the WSJ story.
