C.C. Wei, the chairman of TSMC (TSM), is meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in the White House on Monday, suggesting greater investment in the U.S. by the chipmaker, Nikkei Asia’s Cheng Ting-Fang and Lauly Li report. “We’re pleased to have an opportunity to meet with the President and look forward to discussing our shared vision for innovation and growth in the semiconductor industry, as well as exploring ways to bolster the technology sector along with our customers,” TSMC said.
