Tractor Supply added to ‘Tactical Underperform’ list at Evercore ISI

Evercore ISI is initiating a negative tactical call on Tractor Supply (TSCO) and adding the stock to the firm’s “Tactical Underperform” list ahead of earnings as the analyst believes the stock price and valuation are reflecting the better near-term comp trends, though would expect management to guide conservatively for the year with the mid-point slightly below Street EPS estimates of about $2.20 for 2025. The firm, which prefers Sherwin-Williams (SHW) and Home Depot (HD) in the home category as well as Wayfair (W) in the home furnishings category, has an In Line rating and $58 price target on Tractor Supply shares.
