Bullish Global, a cryptoasset exchange operator whose backers include Peter Thiel, is considering an initial public offering as soon as this year, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg’s Todd Gillespie, David Pan, Ryan Gould, and Bailey Lipschultz. Bullish, which bought media outlet CoinDesk in 2023 for an undisclosed amount and is a subsidiary of blockchain software company Block.one, is working with Jefferies Financial (JEF) on the potential listing, the sources said. Publicly traded companies in the digital asset mining and cryptocurrency space include Bit Digital (BTBT), Bitfarms (BITF), Coinbase (COIN), Core Scientific (CORZ), Greenidge Generation (GREE), Mara Holdings (MARA), MicroStrategy (MSTR), Riot Platforms (RIOT), Stronghold Digital Mining (SDIG) and TeraWulf (WULF).
