The Bear Cave issued a cautious report on Roblox, presenting evidence that the platform has potentially “played a role” in causing mass shooting events, continues to facilitate “large amounts of child abuse,” and is “structurally broken when it comes to child safety.” The Bear Cave also says it has obtained an 87-page whistleblower document showing that Roblox’s developers admit the site is not safe for children with one developer calling the platform’s content “brainrot” and another warning of the “criminal underworld of Roblox.”
