Tesla (TSLA) has issued a recall of over 200,000 Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X vehicles over a problem with the company’s latest computer hardware that can short circuit and disable certain safety features, such as the rearview camera, The Verge’s Umar Shakir reports. The car maker submitted the recall on January 6, which includes vehicles with manufacturing dates ranging as early as January 25, 2023 for certain Model X cars and as later as December 16, 2024 for some Model Ys, the author notes.
