Sycamore Partners has approached lenders including Bank of America (BAC) and JPMorgan (JPM) about funding a prospective $10B+ takeover deal for Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), Sky News’ Mark Kleinman reports. According to an industry source, if Sycamore acquires Walgreens, the firm could look to sell both Boots and VillageMD, the doctor-staffed chain of clinics.
