Sycamore Partners has expressed interest in taking Nordstrom private, Reuters’ Anirban Sen reports. According to people familiar with the matter, negotiations will take several weeks and there is no certainty that Sycamore, which owns Belk, a regional department store operator, or any other private equity suitor will reach a deal.
