Super Micro Computer (SMCI) is building a third campus in California, with the more than 300,000 square foot campus intended to accelerate its production of liquid-cooled services for data centers and generate hundreds of new jobs, The Wall Street Journal’s Katherine Hamilton reports. Super Micro is a supplier for AI companies like Elon Musk’s xAI, and has a close relationship with chip-maker Nvidia (NVDA), the report notes.
