BMO Capital analyst Ameet Thakkar lowered the firm’s price target on Sunrun (RUN) to $9 from $11 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares after its Q4 results. The company’s cash generation and capacity growth outlook have moderated, but despite the likely opportunities to gain market share during period of upheaval in U.S. residential solar, the firm is in agreement with Sunrun approach towards focusing on higher returning pv+battery and eschewing growth for cash generation, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
