Stord acquires e-commerce fulfillment ops from Pitney Bowes, Information reports

Logistics startup Stord is purchasing the e-commerce fulfillment services operations of Pitney Bowes (PBI), The Information’s Ann Gehan and Theo Wayt report, citing an internal memo sent to Pitney Bowes staff. The move marks the second acquisition so far this year by Stord, which seeks to help merchants better compete with Amazon (AMZN) on quick shipping, the authors note.
