Starbucks to launch new code of conduct at NA stores, WSJ reports

This month, Starbucks (SBUX) plans to launch a new code of conduct at its North American stores, aiming to improve the safety and experience of both customers and staff, the Wall Street Journal’s Heather Haddon reports. Of note, the coffee giant is reversing its long-standing policy of allowing open access to its cafes, now requiring patrons to purchase something at their stores in order to find seating or use restrooms, the author says.
