Square Enix’s ‘FFVII Rebirth’ had ‘fantastic’ Steam launch

The Steam launch of Square Enix’s (SQNXF) “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” was “fantastic,” according to Circana analyst Mat Piscatella, citing Circana’s Retail Tracking Service. Across physical and tracked digital, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” was the best-selling PC game of the week ending Jan 25th in the U.S. market in terms of dollar sales, while the “FFVII Remake & Rebirth Twin Pack” ranked third, Piscatella noted. The Fly notes that “Rebirth” first released in early 2024 exclusively for PlayStation 5 (SONY).
