Sony’s (SONY) PlayStation 5 exclusive game “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” claimed the top spot int he U.K.’s weekly boxed retail charts, Gamesindustry.biz’s Christopher Dring reports, citing data from GfK. The “Spider-Man” title beat out Nintendo’s (NTDOY) “Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” which still had a “great launch,” according to Dring, who noted that the game’s sales are slightly ahead of “New Super Mario Bros. Wii,” which previously had the biggest 2D “Mario” launch in U.K. history.
