Stifel raised the firm’s price target on S&P Global to $540 from $535 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares following a quarter that it says “was generally solid overall.” The Ratings segment was “the standout performer” as tight credit spreads and a modest improvement in the capital markets environment lead to a strong debt Issuance quarter, says the analyst, who is raising estimates following the quarterly report.
