Southwest (LUV) Airlines pilot David Paul Allsop was arrested Wednesday at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Georgia just before takeoff and is accused of driving under the influence, CNN’s Amanda Musa and Pete Muntean report, citing airline officials and Georgia authorities. “We’re aware of a situation involving an employee on Flight 3772 Wednesday morning from Savannah,” a Southwest spokesperson said, adding Allsop has been “removed from duty”.
