The fund’s new buys for the third quarter included, by size of position, Activision Blizzard (MSFT), Abcam (ABCM), Novo Class B (NVO), CRH (CRH), and Splunk (SPLK). Soros exited a number of positions during the quarter, including by size of previous position Rivian (RIVN), Aramark (ARMK), Celanese (CE), Vulcan Materials (VMC), and Pioneer Natural (PXD). The fund increased its stake in AerCap Holdings (AER), Jacobs (JEC), Cboe (CBOE), iShares iBoxx High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (HYG), and Booking (BKNG), and reduced its stake in iShares iBoxx Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (LQD), RenaissanceRe (RNR), Alibaba (BABA), T-Mobile (TMUS), and Fortive (FTV). Soros Fund’s top holdings as of September 30, in order of size, were Horizon Therapeutics (HZNP), Activision Blizzard, Alphabet Class A (GOOGL), Abcam, and Novo Class B.
