CNBC’s David Faber reported on-air that he hears from sources that Silver Lake is likely to sell “a lot” of the Broadcom (AVGO) shares the firm receives given its position as a holder of VMware (VMW) stock. Broadcom announced earlier this morning that it has completed its acquisition of VMware and that VMware’s common stock will now cease to be traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
