Huawei Technologies, a china-based technology company, has caught the attention of the the Semiconductor Industry Association or SIA, which is warning that Huawei may be forming a group of “secret semiconductor-fabrication facilities across China, Bloomberg’s Ian King and Debby Wu wrote. According to the Bloomberg story, the group, or “shadow manufacturing network ,” would allow “blacklisted company skirt US sanctions and further the nation’s technology ambitions,” noted the Bloomberg story. Publicly traded companies in the space include AMD (AMD), Intel (INTC), Marvell (MRVL), Microchip (MCHP), Micron (MU), Nvidia (NVDA), Qualcomm (QCOM), Texas Instruments (TXN), Applied Materials (AMAT), and Analog Devices (ADI).
