Target’s delivery service Shipt is planning to suspend service in Seattle next month due to city ordinances, including recently passed laws for app-based platforms, the Seattle Times’ Renata Geraldo reports, citing a company statement. The company said the ordinances create an obstacle for Shipt to remain compliant while offering quality service and it will be evaluating whether it can operate in the region again.
