Evercore ISI is adding Sherwin-Williams (SHW) to the firm’s “Tactical Outperform” list into Q4 earnings, reflecting an improving setup due to pricing and share gains, a better home improvement backdrop, and initial 2025 guidance that, while below current street estimates, will “appear both conservative and attainable,” the analyst tells investors. While the firm does expect official guidance to be below sell side consensus at $12.58, it believes this will “set conservative expectations with plenty of upside through 2025,” adds the analyst, who has an Outperform rating and $420 price target on shares.
