JPMorgan upgraded Samsung (SSNLF) to Overweight from Neutral with a price target of KRW 74,000, up from KRW 60,000. The firm says its shorter legacy memory down-cycle thesis is materializing, creating a positive pricing reaction for the legacy memory cycle. As a result, JPMorgan sees the risk/reward for the overall memory space turning incrementally positive.
