Samsung is planning to more than double its approximately $44B semiconductor investment in Texas, Jiyoung Sohn and Asa Fitch of The Wall Street Journal reports, according to people familiar with the matter. To aid with the finance of this expansion, Samsung is also expected to receive billions in subsidies from the U.S. Chips Act.
