Samsung (SSNLF) has accused India’s competition watchdog of unlawfully detaining its employees and seizing data in a 2022 antitrust raid over Amazon (AMZN) and Walmart’s (WMT) Flipkart, Reuters’ Arpan Chaturvedi and Aditya Kalra report. In a legal filing, Samsung asks the High Court in the northern city of Chandigarh to quash the investigation findings related to conduct of the company, arguing the Competition Commission of India illegally seized material from its employees, Reuters says.
