Salesforce plans to lay off around 700 employees, or roughly 1% of its staff, after cutting 10% of its workforce in January 2023, The Wall Street Journal’s Tom Dotan reports, citing a person familiar with the company’s plans. The company still has 1,000 open jobs across the company, the person says, adding that the move could be more of a routine adjusting of the company’s workforce rather than a major shift in its strategy.
