U.S. Representative Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio and chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is launching a probe into Formula 1 and its U.S. owner, Liberty Media, seeking answers about the sport’s decision to deny Andretti Global a place on the grid, NBC News’ Sahil Kapur reports. Jordan accused the sport’s top bosses of engaging in “anticompetitive conduct” by denying the American racing team’s bid to enter F1 in 2025 or 2026, the author says, citing a letter dated Tuesday.
