Truist initiated coverage of Regions Financial (RF) with a Hold rating and $25 price target The bank’s normalizing credit, steady wealth revenue growth and capital markets recovery, and “market neutral” position will prepare Regions into the new cycle, but it will be hard for it return to its historic return on tangible common equity figures, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm adds that Regions’ short-term expenses are picking up, “acting as a risk driver.”
