Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Sports, which has been seeking to buy Manchester United, could opt instead to acquire a minority stake in the team and leave the Glazer family in control, according to Sky News’ Mark Kleinman. Ratcliffe is contemplating buying a minority stake in the club rather than seeking full control in an effort to end a nearly ten months-long process to resolve the club’s future ownership, the report stated.
